The Thirty-Fourth Annual Meeting of the Rhode Island Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Amica Life Insurance Company, 100 Amica Way, Lincoln, RI 02865. All members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting and the Organizational Meeting of the Board which will follow.

The Board of Directors unanimously recommends the following members be elected:
Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America Term Expiring 2022
Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. Term Expiring 2022
The Prudential Insurance Co. of America Term Expiring 2022

The foregoing recommendation has also been approved by the Superintendent of Insurance of the State of Rhode Island.
Additional nominations for Insurer Directors may be made as provided in the Association’s Plan of Operation, Article 5, which states that, upon petition of at least 10 member insurers, other nominees may be submitted to the Board, but not less than 60 days prior to the Annual Meeting. In the event there is more than 1 nominee for any Insurer Director position to be filled, the Board of Directors shall make the names of those nominees known to member insurers at least 30 days prior to the Annual Meeting, and the election of Insurer Directors shall be by mail ballot of member insurers in accordance with the Plan of Operation.
